Josh Bordelon is a rad film photographer from Texas/Minnesota. Josh and I have been friends for about two years now and I continually find myself getting caught up in his photographs. He shoots anything from weddings to senior portraits to personal skate shots.
There are so many things that make Josh's photography unique and beyond cool. Whether it be a groom seeing his bride for the first time, the details of a girl's outfit, or just the setting of the shoot, Josh always captures some of the great moments. He knows how to utilize his angles and setting to their fullest. He leaves us with beautiful, flawless tones that make photography seem so simple.
For you photo nerds, his collection includes: Leica M6, Leica M3, Hasselblad, Contax G2, Nikon FM2n, Canon EOS3 & when he is not shooting film: Canon 5d mark ii
Josh is one of those photographers who is extremely humble. In his own words (and hopefully he won't kill me for saying this) "I just hang out with my friends, take crappy photos, and skate." His work is by far much better than crappy. When he said that to me, I could not help but be even more inspired by him. This guy loves photography and is dang good at it. He does it because he enjoys it. It is one of his God-given talents. He is not trying to be the best, simply trying to be God's best.

Two things Josh lives by:
'Our gifts and talents should be turned over to God. They should be recognized for what they are, God's loan to us, and should never be considered in any sense our own.' - A.W. Tozer
"For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?" - 1 Corinthians 4:7
I would love to say more about him, but I feel that his photos say more than I could ever say.

Now you can see where he gets the good looks and love for photography. Poppa Bordelon
